Now Scheduling Apartment, Church & Community Workshops focused on coping mechanisms training, emotional wellness strategies, and health and nutrition workshops.
Lula’s House of Serenity was created from lived experience, long-term healing, and the belief that people deserve practical support without judgment.
We provide healing-centered talks, interactive wellness mini-series, and practical tools designed to help individuals understand survival patterns and develop healthier coping strategies. Our focus on emotional wellness empowers people to strengthen their resilience and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
Our work is not about achieving perfection or promising that life will always be easy. Instead, it is dedicated to helping individuals gain the understanding, support, and tools they need to navigate difficult seasons in healthier ways.

Lula’s House of Serenity was named in honor of my grandmother, Lula Mae Williams. She loved me unconditionally before, during, and after my addiction, always seeing more in me than my struggles.
She also cared deeply for her neighbors and supported people throughout her community.
Her compassion, generosity, and belief in second chances continue through our healing-centered programs today.

We believe that emotional wellness is possible without pretending the struggle of survival mode never happened.
We believe that lived experience can serve as preparation rather than a life sentence.
We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
We believe practical tools can help individuals respond differently to stress, emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges.
We are excited to explore these concepts further in our wellness mini-series, highlighting how lasting change is strengthened through connection, purpose, accountability, and consistent practice.
Most importantly, we believe people are more than what they have survived.
